The best part of Thanksgiving is that it is truly the American Holiday. Everyone (or nearly everyone) celebrates it, no matter their race, ethnicity or religion. An added bonus is that there's no "politically incorrect" way to wish someone a Happy Thanksgiving.

The family all getting together & having their usual catching up. You know,asking how things are going on in their lives,what's new,remember when & by the way -kick,punch,spit,scratch,yell... The family fights! LOL

I hear you. I think just being together and enjoying a good meal with your loved ones and exchanging stories and jokes, and laughing. Maybe sneaking outside and having a cigar! I only smoke a cigar on special occasions, like big holidays.

Baking pies... or basically just all the prep stuff. My sisters and mom all get together and do it together. We normally end up with a mess in the kitchen, but it's a lot of fun to just be doing something like that together with them.
