I'm not sure. Too many guns get into the wrong hands and not enough 2nd Ammendment activists dont seem to want to do enough to stop it.
Curtailing the number of guns in the D.C area is not a bad idea, actually.
It isnt about "dismissing" our constitutional right to bear arms. Its about the fact we live in a world far removed from the day and age when the 2nd Ammendment was written. Restore the civility of handling a gun properly to that time, and the modernized restriction on implementing the 2nd Ammendment can and should be lifted.

God, guns are rampant in DC, ban or not. Remember this is the city who voted in Marion Barry AFTER his coke conviction. And the man is still in charge over in Ward 8, the poorest section of the city. Legal or illegal, the criminals are going to be armed with the best their money can buy.

I believe in the 2nd Amendment, just like I believe in the other Admendments Bush has been eliminating.

As a hunter I support the 2nd Amendment of course, but I do think the assault weapon ban should be put back in place. I hunt ducks and deer, assault weapons are meant to hunt men.

I',m all for the second amendment...but unlike the gun lobby I am for the entire second amendment....why do you giuys always wanna leave the "Well regulated" part out of it....I support your right to own a gun, but also support the governments right to regulate them
