No I would not, even if it meant Chaney would be president. I feel that when you are in a high profile job that is one of the risks that come along with it. But there are very brave men and women that work for the government that would in a heart beat! The deserve more then people give them credit for.

I think that if it were my job to do so, I would unerringly. However, as just a citizen, I would only do something like that for someone I love; and I never LOVE the president, no matter who he/she may be.

I would take a literal bullet for the president but not be his fall guy for a failed policy. He is my commander and Cheif and as such it is my obligation to protect him from harm, but he can deal with policy issues on his own
