pogo stick

I cant tell you how many times I pogoed in a no pogo zone..hey it hurts even girls sometimes

My friends and I used all sorts of materials to slide down huge dirt hills (with cactus, rocks, etc). Mostly we used cardboard, but the best thing was a fender off a VW bug. It was like "desert bobsled". I dont know how many times we went home cut up, only to return later!

I had an orangutan that flipped around every which way and I had to watch that my hands didn't get caught when he was flipping. Kind of dangerous considering it was operated by an on/off switch on his back.

My clackers...two Lucite balls at the ends of a string with a ring in the middle. With practice you could clack the balls together...Alas too many shattered into flying fragments into the eyes of users.

I used to play with a great big bag-o-glass.... but mom always said that it wasn't dangerous. It was my favorite game next to playing in traffic.

My brother had things like Tonka Trucks that were made of metal......that would rust, and had sharp edges among other things. Those toys were great!

Rubber bouncy ball you sit and jump on. It was a purple hippo. I decided to jump from the patio- 3 ft drop- my nose broke the fall.

My brother had one of those potholder looms.... man, if I stepped on that thing barefoot once I must've done it a hundred times. Ohhh! the pain still shakes me.

play doh. i would get it in my sister's hair...in the carpet and my mom would have to dig it out. i think i got a whoopin everyday for a week til i got smart and stopped playing with it.
