I used charcoal, but it was hard to keep it doing. So if I was buying a new BBQ I'd get a charcoal that's gas or electrically assisted.

I use gas now, but it took quite awhile to come around to it. I bought a gas grille, only three years ago, and I have been using charcoal up to that time. Peace!

Charcoal all the way! Nothing beats the taste of a burger on the grill using charcoal. U get that smoked taste that is so awesome!!!!!

Charcoal..why cook on a grill with gas? I see not one purpose in that!

Charcoal. I've seen propane explode on a grill and it was not pretty.
