My imagination always goes a little wild when Im alone at home at night! Little noises make me jump easily and I dont sleep well at all when my hubby is gone either. I sleep on the couch so I can be alert enough if I have to be ya know? But once he is home- the noises seem to go away! hmmmmmm I might just be a tad paranoid ya think????

I hear noises when I'm home alone, but they're not strange and they don't freak me out. Wind blows, houses, furniture, and objects settle, appliances do their thing, as do utilities.
"Do you hear strange noises in the middle of the night? Have you ever seen a spook, spectre, or ghost? Do you experience feelings of dread in your attic or basement? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then call the paranormal experts for all your supernatural elimination needs. Ghostbusters."

A. Wouldn't usually care but 6 months ago someone broke into the apartment while girlfriend and I were sleeping. The noise jolted me awake and I saw a light on underneath the door. Got up and their was a guy standing in the living room. Noises at night still mess with me now.

Yes, and I ve seen things... Weird things. They sometimes appear out of the corner of my eye. Then just like that, they vanish without trace. I ve never caught a full glimpse of one of these.. things. But one time I caught about a half of one. It was pale, but bloody. Their eyes seemed to be bulging out of the sockets. But the scariest part was when it growled at me and I jumped, then it laughed like a psycho and vanished.Of course I was terrified! I didn t sleep for almost a month.. Soon the sounds of laughter and mumbles in the middle of the night stopped and never re-occurred again until last night. I was home alone and heard a laugh, I got up from my bed to explore and saw a shadow, in my living room, I quickly ran into my room, locked the door, and phoned my mom. I was only 15 at the time and terribly spooked. She told me she was on her way home, but because of traffic, she said, she was going to be about 45 minutes until she got home. I was absolutely mesmerized, thinking that I was going to die.. by the hands of ghost. I waited patiently in my room, texting my friend, Ashley. She made me feel so safe. Finally my mom arrived but as soon as I heard her call out, "Honey, are you okay?!" She let out a blood curdling screech. I frantically ran out into the living room where she was. I saw her.. on the ground, bloodied, and bruised.. a sight I would never forget... they killed my mother that night.. which is why i ll be damned if I ever stay home alone AGAIN! I also quickly moved after the incident, into a nicer neighborhood, into a newer house. Hopefully it won t happen again..

Yes I do, and yes it does. It usually ends out being my neighbors boinking (I live in an apartment.) Seriously, if you hear strange sounds, it could be the house settling.
