if the leaders of venezuela and iran were to make good on their promises to double the price of crude oil, what good will a victory in iraq against the terrorists do us? paying 7-8 dollars or more for a gallon of gas, would make the victory parade awfully small.

newdad, i hope that your son took after his mother in the brains department. you make no sense at all with your anti-dem rant. who was the bozo that invaded iraq and did not think of all the possible repercussions. or maybe he did think of them, and is just waiting to conquer the world. are you draft age?

What good would a victory in Iraq do for the USA under the very best circumstances? We still have to pay now every year 20 Billion tax dollar to maintain the Base they build.

Even the victory parade would cost a fortune with the gas used! I agree. The war should be on oil companies and the SUV manufacturer's. They are the real terrorists.

Nuke 'em!!!!! People like that will bring destruction on this earth. Tell me how many of you have actually been to the Middle East? There is no terror.Your govt. feeds you all lies and then blames it the Middle east. why did they go after saddam? To restore democracy? Nah man, its all about the oil for the states. And trust like everything, it'll come back them to haunt them. I hope they lose every war. There is no war on terror. Bush wants to fill his pocket by controlling oil reserves.

That's why we have to drill in ANWR. Forget these freaky tree huggers. 99.99% of the world will never go there so what's the big deal? We are just waiting for the rest of the world to run out of oil and then we'll release all of our reserves. Those environmental psychotics won't have any say in the matter, it will happen sooner or later. When that occurs, we will dictate the price of oil and will open up the world's largest Wal-Marts in those backward, uncivilized parking lots.

President Bush has liberated two countries,

Crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida,

Put nuclear inspectors in Libya , Iran , and, North Korea
Without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who
Slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

About how long the war is taking.

But Wait...

It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno
To take the Branch Davidian compound.
That was a 51-day operation..

We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons
In Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find
The Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the
Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard
Than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his
Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

The money we are spending on oil, right now could be spent on new technologies and solar, wind, hydro.
Oil is a waste of time and we are filling the pockets of failed regimes.
Our dollar is worthless, our country's lights are blinking out!

Considering that there is no such thing as the war on terror or the war on oil I would say we cannot win or lose either.
