Hi, how can I entertain my fish? I have already done the following:
- put in lots of plants/rocks/ornaments
- filled a water bottle up with water and turned it upside down in the tank so it floats and my fish can swim around in it (she actually does!)
- I have a betta so I can't quite get tankmates for her
- taught her how to eat from my fingers
Any ideas?

How large of a tank is she in? If you have at least 5 gallons, you could definitely consider Pygmy Cories. 3 Pygmy Cories would keep great company for your fish. Bettas only attack fish that resemble Bettas (long fins), so any small, slow moving, short finned, peaceful fish makes a great addition to a Betta tank. If you have a 10 gallon tank, you could do a large group of 5 female Bettas and a small school of 5 Neon Tetras. If you have less than a 5 gallon, consider some shrimp (Red Cherry Shrimp, Ghost Shrimp, Amano Shrimp, Singapore Shrimp, Bamboo Shrimp, or Bumblebee Shrimp). Contact me if you have any questions.

If your tank is big enough, then get some corys, at least five. This will keep her some tankmates that she should interact with. Since it is a female, you can add mirrors. Most will like them, but some aggressive ones will wear themselves out by attacking the side of the tank. See how she responds to them and DON'T EVER do this to a male.

Mirrors. That's a good time. -nod nod- Or maybe bubbles? Snails are good too. But If its a beta it might eat the snail.
