Don't do it! It's a trap!
Stay home. Order your gifts online. You can even have your out-of-town gifts shipped straight to the recipients, with gift wrap and all!
A good site for gifts is GearThatGives, which has stuff that benefits different charities that help with issues like world poverty and hunger, child healthcare, breast cancer, animal rescue, literacy, and rainforest preservation. Some of the products they sell are handmade by people in so-called 3rd world or developing nations. These items fair trade imported, which means the people who make them are paid a decent amount for the work they do, so you get to help twice! Right now, they're offering free shipping on orders over $30.

You can also try A Greater Gift, which offers gift items that benefit financially disadvantaged people in the US and around the world.

Think about it. You can sleep in, shop in your pj's, save gas, money, and time, and help people all over the world! What's not to love?!

Hit each and everyone of them! Walmart, Kmart, Target, Sears, pennys, Dillards, Herbergers- just plow thru and get to all of those sales! i love Black Friday! it always seems to put me in the Christmas mood! The crowds- the laughter- the magic in the air- the pushing and shoving- getting hit byu a shopping cart or two....maybe a fist fight over a video game....LOL Its awesome isnt it?

Stay home! All the stores will be too crowded. Everyone feeling grumpy, pushing, shoving, grabbing stuff just before you can get to it.
I do most of my shopping online, since in our small town, there isn't much for sale.

You couldnt pay me to go out shopping on "black friday." The stress is not worth the sale, plus I have to work unlike some people who have nothing better to do than shop.

Resist, enjoy your friends and family in a happy setting. Stay away from the malls. Don't fall for the hype. someone recently referred to the holiday as "Giftmas", a good call.

yes, stay home. Save yourself from the headache. Shop from the internet in the comfort of your home. If you really want to go, then my suggestion is to go as early as possible so that you get the best deals. Good luck
