"Democracy Now!" which appears on LINK TV twice a day, on certain radio stations, and on their web page and on podcasts.

The English language version of Deutsche Welle's "Journal" which appears twice daily on LINK TV.

"The World News" which appears in the evening on the BBC America channel.

I read the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Sundays. They're another paper threatening to send jobs to India and their news coverage tends to stuff that's old and has already been hashed over though (we subscribe mainly for grocery coupons, G. Keillor's column, and the crossword).

I tend to stay away from local TV news, which mostly talks about some farmer has a sheep with 8 heads or overhypes issues. I generally stay away from CNN and others because they immediately jumped on that "war is good" train and still haven't got off.

I kinda get it from everywhere (except Faux News, of course), and then weigh them all. I used to think PBS was boring when I was a kid, but it's one of the few places for news that doesn't try to entertain me with fancy sets, graphics and music.
