Been to China lately? They have to wear masks to walk in the street. We aren't close to the #1 polluter. Lies make you look unintelligent, but it is apparent you don't even need to lie to be that.

The Blacksmith Institute issues annually a list of the world's worst polluted places. In the 2007 issues the ten top nominees are located in Azerbaijan, China, India, Peru, Russia, Ukraine and Zambia.

First, your premise that we "don't care" is all wet. Second, we are NOT the worlds no. one polluter: it's China, with India a close second. And don't forget you old pal Russia! We actually have environmental laws...they don't! Get real!

China just passed us up in that category, and will only continue to pull their lead ahead. I am conscious of my impact, I wish more people were and tried to do something about it. It's hard to change a lifestyle when the system and people's lives are so used to the way things are.

You mean in terms of carbon emissions. China and many other countries have very low standards for toxins and many do not enforce what few laws they have. The US has very high and enforced environmental restrictions.
