Actually Emo and Goth are not the same thing. If you listened to the music it would be obvious... Emo isn't very good in my humble opinion...

Emo is short for emotional. Characterized by dressing goth, listening to "emo" music. Self mutilation cutting wrist, crying, moody, etc.
