No, not fair. Sorry your dad slaps you for that, Ouch! Its good you got it straight with the kid who cried. You know the truth and that matters. You could have the kid explain to teacher that you didnt do it to clear up your name if that helps.

well this is a tricky situation. That totally sucks that you had to take some of the blame, and that was no reason to get smacked by your dad. You probably shouldn't have laughed or said anything and just ignored the situation. But I would try and get the kid to tell your teacher that it wasn't your fault and see if you can talk to your dad one-on-one about it if he's willing to listen. The next time it happens I would just look the other way and not get involved.

Laughing might not have been the best thing. But as for the rest, speak to your dad and your teacher. Explain yourself. You should have told your teacher you had nothing to do with it. Yeah sometimes they don't listen, but be persistant next time. Also, about your dad, go to him and ask him if you two can talk. Say it like you really mean. Tell him what happened at school, and that you didn't mean to laugh, but that's what happened. He should understand once you explain yourself.

You don't want to hold on to this, because it could put a strain on you and your relationship. Just stay positive.

Not fair to get slapped by your dad, but fair to get in trouble, your laughing instigates the whole issue. How does it make you feel when he laughs???? Two wrongs dont make a right....

Its difinitly isent right that you got slaped in the face! And the teacher should of took the time to hear you side of the story and see who really did something and who should be punished.

You laughed at him, so it was fair that you got in trouble with the others. No one should ever physically harm you though, so that part certainly wasn't fair.

Maybe the moral is, if someone laghting at you hurts, then DO NOT do the same thing to someome else, even if they deserve it.
