for florida. i heard that they changed the law, but right now its just a rumor. can anyone tell me what it is now, and if they changed it, what is the cut off?

To earn an Operator’s License, teens must be at least 16
years old AND have held a learner’s license for at least one
year without any traffic convictions.

There are limits to when you can drive. See http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us/teens/teenguide.pdf for details.

Once you reach 18 the restrictions are removed if you do not get any tickets.

Probably 16 just call DMV and ask,then you'll know for sure.
