Hi, we have a 2 yr old son named Peyton and found out we are having another boy, yesterday. So far, we like the name Braylon, but I am looking for middle name ideas? I like Eli, Kai, Isaiah, and David (my father). What do you think? Or any name ideas in general that would go with our son Peyton?

Try putting the names together. Braylon David sounds great!! You could try Justin or James or even Andrew would work

Peyton is a nice name, but I think his brother will feel a bit slighted to have a recently-coined "name" whose only available root is traced to the Celtic braigid, meaning "he breaks wind." I'm not being crass, I assure you. It just bothers me to no end seeing parents snatching up these trendy created names with no knowledge regarding what it might possibly imply.

If it's a common "bray" sound name you want, however, you might also consider Braden/Bradan. At least it avoids the literal "he breaks wind" meaning, and has the added bonus of an historic association with Celtic lore. ;)

That said, Isaiah is likely the only of those listed I'd use as a middle name with "Braylon" -- mostly just flow issues -- but there's certainly something to be said for using the meaningful middle name, so "Braylon David" wouldn't be a bad choice either. Braden Eli also works, should you go that route.

David is the best. I don't know what a Braylon is, but it sounds like Teflon, the non-stick pan or Rayon, the cheap fabric.

Personally I think Braylon is an awful name, if you must name the child
David Braylon which at least sounds reasonable. It just reminds me of a braying donkey.
