why doesn't the Sims have good graphics on my PC and how do you make them better?

i play the sims on my pc but the graphics arnt to great there ok but not like the back of the sims box thart carries the disc is there any way to get graphics like them

The Sims or the Sims 2.

The Sims does not have very good graphics, the sims 2 graphics can be adjusted in the three dot button.

Click it and you will see gears and a computer monitor you can adjust game play in both. Try having more smooth egdes, and upping your refresh rate.

Are you zoomed all the way in? Does your video card meet the required specifications? Go into your video settings within the game and see if you can increase detail, shadows, etc. It should look like the pictures on the box if all the options are turned on high.

You may need a better graphics card. You can tweak the settings for the game under the options menu, but if your RAM isn't high enough, it's going to make your game run very slowly.

but go to the bottom and it has like stuf and you can see three bold dots click on it and you will see some options click on a computer and you can see character detail and terrain detail and click high on both
