i just reinstalled my windows and all of my music is gone.. well its on the ipod... is there a way i can get it from the ipod to the computer? i dont want to press sync on my itunes because it will erase all the music i have on there.. i also have new music on my computer and want to put it on the ipod too... just add it in there...but i dont know how since i cant press sync or else it will erase all my other songs and put only the few i have on the computer? how can i make it work?

It can't be done using Itunes. There are a number of programs which can be downloaded either free or on a free trial basis which will do this for you. I like the Ipod music liberator which is designed for exactly this purpose.

If the songs on your Ipod were purchased from Itunes you may have problems because of the DRM restrictions.
