Is this just a ploy to try and derail the Obama campaign or are Bill and Hillary justified to reveal scandals within their party?

They did the same the first time around they are slime and scum they want to win at any price.
I think Obama should fight back and revisit all the crap known and suspected from the Clintons.

It was not revealed anywhere that:
(A) There is any "scandalous" information on Obama, or
(B) that the Clintons are holding it or falsely claiming to hold it.
Conservative hack Robert Novak (dubbed "No-facts" earlier in his career by real journalists) stated anonymous, unsourced, third-hand gossip and rumors as stating there was dirt being held.
This is like the nonsense about Obama being raised in a madrassa, which, for no particular reason at all, was attributed to the Clinton campaign. Actually, not "like" it, but identical to it, except that instead of revealing the false and easily disproven smear, they keep it anonymous so people can't check the facts. When I say "they," I mean the right-wing smear machine, not the Clinton campaign.
The purpose is to try and kill two very strong birds (both of whom would trash any of the current slate of Republican candidates) with one dirty stone.

Funny, Hillary played the "mud" card at the debates when Obama and Edwards rightly questioned her on non-mud issues (clarification on her position, where her campaign finances came from, etc). However, it apparently is not "mud" for someone in your camp to claim to hold scandalous information about a candidate.
Even if she doesn't have it, she is a hypocrite for not denouncing this report immediately. If she wants to have this campaign about the issues, as she claims, then why does this issue even surface?

If they release Obama's scandalous business; then in all fairness they should release all those papers about the Clinton's from the Presidential Library now instead of after elections!

Its blackmail. If they had something Im doubting theyd play it like they have. A smarter move would have been to expose it behind the scenes. Bill and Hillary are infamous liars. Who are THEY to talk about "scanalous info"?? Dozens of books have been written about their own lies and scandals.

i do no longer think of you will discover anybody who will accuse Hillary of being ethical. She's the antithesis of ethical.
