Since God is spirit and has no physical form, then how are we made in His image. Who was God talking to and what are their images.

We were made in the image of humanoid beings that were created before us. When the Bible reads "let there be light and light was created", it means that a minor God created light and so on. At least that's a theory I'm entertaining.

God has always been a trinity, just like He has always been. We are created in the spiritual image of God, which means we have a soul. God is also all-powerful, which means He is not subjected to physics, therefore He may actually have an image. If you have more questions, a good book to read would be "Velvet Elvis" by Rob Bell.

Depends on whether you want a Jewish or Christian intepretation. As far as the "we" goes, the Christian interpretation would be the trinity, but I suspect the Jewish interpretation would be more of a "royal" we. A rabbi or Hebrew scholar would be more help.

As for the image, the word means likeness, not form. We are creative, spiritual, thinking beings (at least that's what we aspire to be). In that way we are in the image of a creative, thinking spirit.

Yes,you are right God is a spirit and he said "let us.."...the image he meant is the spirit not the physical appearance of a human being(Because you can't say a prostitute is in the image of God).
He was with the Angles.

The Holy Trinity, God the father, God the son(Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. He wasn't talking about our physical looks, but our spirit, our soul! All three parts of the trinity have always been, so he was talking to them.

Perhaps God speaks about himself in the third person, a la Queen Victoria. Then again, God didn't write those lines, man did. Who are we to know what God says to himself and what form he has?

The trinity! (God AKA The father... Jesus AKA The Son... and The Holy Spirt whom lives within you if you are a christian)

You cannot take the Bible completely literally.
Image refers to the fact that we have a conscience and our could either be because of the inaccurate translation of Hebrew to English or he was speaking in third person like Queen Victoria

The Rays of Light (what we call angels) were created in perfect non-duality. Distinct but not seperate...so there is only ONE.
