Will it have pillars of magma bursting out of the earth, or plauges, or will it just be blown up from the inside?

We may be the only civilization to have enough space junk floating in our universe that may record our actual demise and preserve it for another civilization to examine, decipher and perhaps learn not to hate.

It's probably pretty likely that either the people will be long gone, so no one will know (if a tree falls in the forest...), or that we'll eventually devise a way to either stop the sun from consuming the Earth or move the Earth to stop the sun from swallowing it.
