Yup. I agree with you that it would make them work harder. Life isn't always full of sunny days and it's better that they cry now than start/continue ego-tripping on something that never really was. If they're gonna perform there, they should get booed if they're not good.

I think it takes age and time to understand the difference in working hard to get where you are... and working hard to get where you are.. and having someone's opinion hurt your feelings. Children are very sensitive and see things differently.
So no.. I don't think they should get booed

Yup! Reality hits hard.. dont have them chirrin goin out there soundin like hell and clappin..you'd set them up for years and years of embarrassment..next thing you know, they'll be auditioning for American Idol and getting ridiculed worldwide..LOL
