We will go down in history as the most cruel people ever lived on the surface of this Globe.....destroying most rare species ....flra nad fauna....spoiling environment, killing mindlessly in last one century.Yet, we think we are the BEST ever.This is stupidity.What do you think about this?

Frankly I don't think this current generation is the best ever, and I'm sure I'm no angel in the matter thats not what I'm getting at. But we are shooting eachother, bullying to far worse extents than our parents and grandparents saw, poisoning the earth, not supervising our children and they are playing guitar hero instead of learning to play musical instruments or going outside and having the television babysit them.

I don't know who you are hanging with, but no one I know thinks they are more civilized. Maybe using English a little better, but not more civilized. People tend to consider advances in science as things that make us more advanced as a species, but we are also making mistakes and causing damage, that is true. I have not noticed the younger folks in the US talking about being more civilized. In some areas where technical advances have been late in coming, it might seem like they are more civilized, but civilization has not come very far since we installed indoor plumbing, if you ask me.

Its not that people have become more evil, what happens is that now that we have so much knowledge and technology its so much easier to do bad meaningful things.
