If a pregnant woman is murdered and so is her unborn child, should the murderer be charged with two counts of murder?

I think it really depends on how far along the pregnancy is. I think if the pregnancy is over 5 months then yes it should be counted as a person, as it could be born and survive, anything before that should not be counted. I think people are trying to be sneeky about getting those early pregnancies counted as a person to take away a womans right to choose and make abortion illegal.

Well our society has no problems with "legaling" slaughtering 3-million unborn babies per year under the guise of it's a woman's right to choice. Seems to me more than a little hypocritical to overlook that fact when a pregnant woman is murdered.
