Much lighter period than usual, what could this mean?

Ok so heres my question... I normally have very very heavy periods that last for about 4-5 days and then are light for the last day. My husband and I have been trying to have our second baby for about 7 months but havnt had any luck. This month I started to bleed a little right when my period was due. It is so so so light and is a darker brown color and this is already the third day. There is hardly and blood which is very unusual for me. What could this mean?

It could mean a number of things such as an infection but the only way to find out for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think could be going on.
