i have vista basic and i might upgrade to home premium my pc is big enough and i have plenty of ram
im just wondering if my graphics card will work vista aero
my card is =nvidia geforce 6100 nforce 405

The Lenova system I bought had the integrated GeForce 6150 video card and supported running Aero. It seemed to handle it OK for simple things like browsing the web, viewing photos, and the Vista included games. What it did poorly though was any other games I installed. I disabled Aero and was able to squeeze a little better performance (not much though). I'm now running with a GeForce 8600GT card and it seems to handle it pretty well.

Should but google it and find out if it is VISTA CAPABLE
