A few years ago around the year 2000 an Astrologer advise me not to look at the moon. I tried to follow it for as long as I can, but after a while forgot.

But is it true that it is not good for me to look at the moon... Because the way things have been going the last few years does really seem like it...

I'm assuming you mean she told you not to follow the moon (as in reading moon sign changes) as a course to set your life.

The moon's influence is on day to day activity. It changes quickly, and it's energies are limited to the here and now.

When one understands the stars, they know the stars foretell, they do not compel. You have free will, which means that the choices you make today will determine the options available to you tomarrow.

Making your own choices without considering the moon movements works best. If you would like to see how this influences, keep a diary of things that happen on a day to day basis and compare them with the moon sign guide in retrospect. This should give you some insight into the situation.

As far as physically looking at the moon, you are a scorpio, and are not ruled by the moon. Looking at the moon can be a source of calming energy and bliss associated with the energy there. Indeed, many pagan rituals are timed to corrospond with the moon's movements for a reason.

Farmers have long known the energy of the moon for planting, as well as carrying out day to day activities such as putting up fruits and veggies, cutting hair, breaking habits, etc.

Everything in perspective.

Born on Thursday, Anuradha Nakshatram, Vrischik Raashi.

Before I proceed with your answer I request you to read the following:

According to the law of Karma -the Sun is the Aathma Karaka, and it remembers all the past incarnations of a person. The Moon (mind) is unaware of any past birth incarnations and therefore the Moon is free to have its own desires and outlook. The Sun is strict in sailing within the constraints of present birth Karma (Prarabdha Karma) on the other hand the Moon (manasu-mind) is prey to its desires originating through our Indriyas. Thus mind (Manasu) is the authority after birth and which seeks fulfillment of anything it desires. Therefore, in order to discharge the present Prarabdha Karma in a decent manner, a person needs the Sun as well as the Moon’s resources and a strong foundation on which they can operate. Therefore it is very essential to have both the Sun and the Moon to be strong OR at least with some moderate directional strength in a horoscope.

In your horoscope, the Sun is debilitated and Moon is also in the house of debilitation therefore both the important planets (Aathma Karaka and Manas Karaka) have lost their good strength thus pushing you to believe in all these nonsense and superstitious (not to see the Moon OR remain away from parents etc). I AM VERY SORRY TO WRITE SO. The Sun has got just 03.97 benefic points in compare to 49.88 malefic points in Shdabala. Similarly the Moon has got 01.35 plus and 56.25 minus points. The Jupiter is placed in 00.31 (out of 30.00 degree) and the Venus is placed in 29.16 (out of 30.00) thus both the benefic Tara planets have also lost its residential strength. All the planets are hemmed in side the orbit of Rahu and Ketu thus producing mild (very mild) Kaal Sarpa Yoga. Therefore you are very easily trusting and believing all the words of those so-called “astrologers”. You are involving yourself more in superstitious rather then practical. You need to meditate in order to get the ray of blessings to touch you.

However, there are many powerful benefic Yoga also present which in your Chart which has been protecting you from approaching so many astrologers and seeking their ””advices””. Tomorrow (November 22, 2007) Guru transits to Dhanu thus to your second house from your Moon sign, hence you can expect some real progress in the form of avoiding visiting those false astrologers.

Budha Maha Dasha is in operation for you since March 2000. Strictly speaking Budha has nothing to do for your Raashi or Lagna (neither good nor bad) hence it is my humble request to you to remain away (AS FAR AS POSSIBLE) from those astrologers and concentrate more on your routine works.

Moon is beautiful to see. The person who advised you NOT to see the Moon must be a big FOOL in this world and definitely not an astrologer.

Sorry for irritating you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Advice.

Don't go to that "astrologer" anymore. Didn't sound like a good astrologer if he/she ignored the moon in your chart at all.

How stupid that man can be? The moon is a beautiful thing to look at. to dream about., even a simple man will also feel poetic when he looks upon it. Don t you think we are lucky that God gave us eyes to look at His creations? Are you blind? I think you are very young., but why are you spoiling your life like this by listening to some stupid astrologer?

It's OK to look at the moon if you only look during the day light hours. No problem.
