How about a simple domestic convector heater? It heats an element which heats the air around it. This rises and draws cold air into the bottom. This in turn is warmed and rises with the circulation until the whole room is heated.

As in heat convection? An Oven. Food is heated through the hott air moving around inside of the oven.

Or Tree branches that are burning cause the air around it to become hot, which can be felt by an individual.
