How do you get rid of hangar marks on shirts you hang up?

You know how if you hang a sweater or a heavier shirt on a hanger for a long tiime, then you take it off, it has those lumps on the shirt? So when you put it on, it has two lumps above your shoulders...how do you get rid of those? By ironing them down?

The one gal is right about getting round hangers. But I usually do not hang my sweaters so their shape stays better.

Usually they can be ironed but really what you need are nicer, rounded hangers. They are better for your clothes.
