my fuel guage does not work. I had another fuel guage that i tried from another blazer just like mine and it didn't work either.A free fuel circuit wiring diagram would be a great help however i cant seem to find one. thanking you in advance

you can loosen the plug where it goes to the fuel pump and take a test light to find out which one is the hot and ground for the pump,and the other one will be for the sending unit have some one set inside the vehicle and touch the wire to the wire then ground the other end of it out,if the hand is working right it will rise,and this will mean you need a sending unit,if not you have an open circuit between that part of the wiring and where it goes to the gage,it can take a while to find this if its not the sending unit,if you touch the right wire the gage will rise if its working right,good luck on it.

All you have to do is unplug the connector to the tank unit and turn the ignition on. The fuel gauge should go way over full. Now ground the pink wire to the connector on the side that leads to the forward of the truck. With the ignition still on the fuel gauge should go right to empty. These were famous for having poor sending units in the tank. Big job to do.
