Failed Sportscaster.

Independent analysis being you and your mother of course. My boy Keith is basically the only person on TV who lets the public know what is going on with the current idiocracy as well as refutes the constant stream of b.s. coming from the likes of Rush, Sean, and Bill. He corrects himself when wrong, he doesn't pull any punches, and he has shown himself to be a jack of all trades. On top of that, his numbers are climbing and he's been called the most honest man in news by such liberal rags as Rolling Stone. Bill can have his cranky old man demo's. Keith is picking up the 20-40 age range. Just the fact that he is starting to get attention from conservatives (and by attention I mean the typical smear campaign that they utilize whenever anyone starts to look like a threat to their agenda) is enough for me to show he is relevant.

Edit: By the way, I can tell that most of you people know absolutely nothing about sports. It's common knowledge that when Dan Patrick and Keith were doing Sportscenter together way back in the day that those two basically set the standard for all that followed them. He is no longer there because he is an egomaniac who was impossible to work with, not because he failed at this job. As to your comments, that's what letting politics in to other aspects of your life does to your judgement.

I'll agree with those who say he's sharp, quick witted, entertaining. I recognize that he's a liberal opinionist and that you can only put so much stock in what he says, but he's very good at what he does and I find his show both very interesting and very entertaining.
The person above who classified him with Jon Stewart put it very well. I think that is a very good comparison.
Also, he was a very good sportscaster.

All in all, I think he's great.

I agree with that he is so out of touch with what foreign policy and what a government needs to do that I never listen to him. He is hateful and vindictive and was not even good when he was on ESPN

Quick witted; sharp. Don't always agree with his perspective (then again, I don't always agree with Bill-O, either, and sometimes enjoy watching him). Keith gets a little too hysterical for my taste, sometimes, but he's usually fun to watch.

Waste of space and time as a football analyst, though... His observations just don't strike me as sharp in that capacity, and he seems a bit out of place with the other analysts.

Olberman is an overbearing, obnoxious talking head who continuously spins the story to fit his left wing, liberal agenda.
Many times his stories only include part of the information pertaining to the story. If he gave all the information, the meaning of the story would usually take a 180 degree turn.

I like him, even though most would classify him as more liberal. I see him as a more mainstream Jon Stewart. He's definitely entertaining, but I don't really care for the bias his show portrays (probably because it's more left leaning). I find it funny that he would be classified as a more negative newsman. I think the analysts don't get him; that's his persona, it's merely an act.

The man is whacked and his ratings reflect that he may soon have lots of time to recover.

God bless him....

I met him once when he worked at ESPN, he's a nice guy. I dont' care what independent analysts think of him, I don't base my views on their opinions, or anyone else's for that matter.
