I just restarted my computer and all of my bookmarks on Firefox have vanished... does anyone know why this would happen? I didn't change, update, or upload anything prior to restarting my computer and I noticed on IE the bookmarks are still present but they are different because I don't use it as much as Firefox.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Are you running any file encryption?
The bookmarks in Firefox are stored in a file in the users profile. If this bookmarks file becomes corrupted it will have to create a new one. The only time I've had this happen is when I was running file vault on a mac, which has tendencies to corrupt files.
You might want to consider using an online bookmarking service such as http://del.icio.us . An advantage of this is that you are able to access the bookmarks from any computer. There is an extension for Firefox do do this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1532

I you do not have an setting up CD seek for for and get carry of "rc.iso" it extremely is the homestead domicile windows fix console image . write it to a cd and boot from the cd click fix console at the same time as the alternative comes up and run first "chkdsk /r" then "fixmbr" then "fixboot" then pass out the console take the cd out of the rigidity and reboot in case you have a homestead domicile windows cd you will possibly be able to boot from that and do the fix an identical way, in case you do a production unit fix you will lose all your information and you have in all probability basically lost a small fraction of one checklist as suitable from, homestead domicile windows is so fragile in that way, if that fails do a fix set up that still will save all your information intact, it takes place as quickly as you turn off 2 or three times with out "shutting down" precise, homestead domicile windows retains 3 copies of the registry and boot information, as quickly as you turn off a fourth time it has no intact set of information as suitable from, ( in all probability the type one clarification for themes on Yahoo)
