from what i've noticed, pregnant women tend to have a different smell to non pregnant women, its probably not noticeable by yourself or other women, but i figure if i can, other men and children may be able to.

children also do see the world in a different way we do... including paranormal wise, as they are't moulded by the general constraints of society as yet.

I think children can tell even before we know. The day before I found out I was pregnant a little girl at walmart looked at me and said "baby" and pointed to my belly. I was very skinny at the time so it wasnt like I had a belly to speak of. The next day I found out I was pregnant Then it seemed like every baby and small child were looking at me differently and some would touch my belly. I think they have a 6th sense. My friends little girl touched my belly and said " its a boy baby" and it turned out to be a boy!

It is possible, but I don't know how you would distinguish that from your son having some behavorial issues. Animals have also been known to act a funny way and become very protective of the belly. My dad got bit once by the family dog because he reached out to stroke my mom's belly, and the dog freaked out. He was protecting her, and me =o).

My daughter never had a clue. Only after she saw the ultrasound did she get that someone was in there. All she knew before was the mommy was sick all the time. I am still getting sick, but she has gotten used to it now. I am 26 weeks.

My oldest told me I was pregnant with my second son. He drew a family picture with a scribble on my tummy. When I asked him about it he said that was his brother. 2 weeks later I discovered I was pregnant.

Well I'd say that i was a very perceptive child when I was younger. And, I could sense that my mother was going to have another child. So maybe he is too?

Or, could your child could have seen or heard something that would disturb them?

I don't think a child could sense it that early. If you are pregnant and try to hide it from your child for a while, I think they can usually sense that something is up that you aren't telling them about. So maybe he senses that you are worried about something, but I doubt that he can sense whether you are pregnant or not.
