Buy a gallon of water from the grocery store for a dollar and some eggs and bread. Then you would have 5 dollars left over. Ramon noodles would last for 10 days.

Well considering that this is pretty accurate to my now college life, I can tell you.

I buy ramen noodles, some eggs, some bread, maybe a package of cheap lunch meat, and some cheap, grocery store brand cans of soda, like 6 for a dollar.

Then I have breakfast (eggs and toast), and lunch (ramen noodles, sandwich and soda) for the next week or so.

I'd buy a loaf of bread and enough lemonade to last 3 days, then I'd be OK and I could spend the rest of the money in a dollar store (I am storing up dolls' clothes for my niece's Christmas presents).

Drink: Water from the tap.

Food: Get it from the fridge.

I'd spend the $10 on a DVD.

If I had no food, I'd buy granola, unsalted peanuts, and pasta (and sauce if there's any $ left over).

Hmmmm. $3.33 a day. I will drink ice water. I usually do anyway. I will buy a half gallon of milk and a box of my favorite cereal. That should get me through three days. I will also buy some apples and pretzels and I think then I will be broke and happy with my choices.

Drink tap water, buy eggs - full of protein and omega 3, bread and peanut butter. And some ramen noodles, and you'll easily make it through 3 days.

Raman noodles are 8 or 9 packs for $1. I'd be set! I'd also buy those big gallon jugs of water. You can usually get those for a dollar or so too.

Spend $5 oln two gallons of water.

$2 on a big can of peanuts, since they are slow-digesting and can hold hunger longer with small servings.

$2 on oats, because I think it's the 'ultimate' food.

$1 on salt, for water retention.
