You may have more maintenance to do. That is about it. If the car was well taken care of then you should be ok. Just be sure to keep an eye on it and get it checked out on a regular basis.
Interesting, that is an average of 500 miles a week. That is a lot of commuting.

The car is designed to last much longer than 100K. The cost of maintenance may increase because some of the systems will wear.
The risk increases due to many factors. If you are worried about a catastrophic failure, I cannot say. If you start hearing noises that are not normal then get it checked. The factors that determine risk are the frequency and the quality of the maintenance that has been done in the past and will be done in the future. All too often the maintenance is done poorly causing premature or additional failure of components. If you have used a good dependable repair shop and serviced the vehicle as outlined in the owner's manual you should have many more dependable miles on your vehicle. 150-200K is not unreasonable on a well kept vehicle.

It's no longer a stretch for any car to go over 100k miles anymore. The only significant things are aging parts, timing belts, and such. But if you maintain your car regularly, it should last you a very long time. I own a 03 Cadillac CTS and have over 140k miles on it and counting.

Heck, most newer cars come with 10-year 100,000 mile warranties! I say, keep up with the preventative maintenance and run it till it dies!

taking it off the lot has a risk (value drops).
if she has been in good health, taken care of by getting her dose of meds (oil change, filters changed, flushed, etc.), then that baby is in her second phase of running.
IS SHE PURRrrrrrrING SOFTLY?
