What you eat for thanksgiving is usually the traditional Turkey, stuffing you know the old style. In my thanksgiving we have diff rent kinds of food because of our culture.Basically it all depends on what you want to cook that day. Remember there is no such thing as a jacked up Turkey day.

I've never liked what Thanksgiving stands for in America; that is, Pilgrim Rock settlers thanking god when they should have been thanking the Natives for teaching them how to survive in this unforgiving land. Natives who saved their bacon, so to speak, and were later robbed of their lands, slaughtered or imprisoned on reservations.
Most folks I know - including family and friends - go in for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner a la Norman Rockwell but me, I eat a can of cold beans alone, thankful for excellent physical and mental health.

A Tofurky. This is a really great substitute for your Thanksgiving turkey, and tastes awesome! Nutrients are pretty much the same compared to the alternative, and it also saves a Turkey from a painful execution.

Turkey, then when I got married we started putting a rutabaga in the mashed potatoes. Stuffing, gravy, bean salad, apple, mince and pumpkin pie.
Then I bake all the "kids" (ranging in age from 27 to35) a large tin pan of carmel rolls to take home,
