I feel like I don't say it a lot to my mom. and she always says it to me lately at the end of our long distance telephone conversations so it makes me wonder if she doubts that i do or something. but i always feel a bit sheepish. but its my mom right, she's seen me at my worst and best.

I love it to hear my son say that he loves me. You should say it more! We like it, I am sure she doesn't doubt that you love her, but everyone likes to hear that they are loved.

My daughter is only 2 1/2 but it makes me feel good when she says "I love you mommy". I hope she continues to do this as she grows up. I am 28 and I do say it to my mom but usually only when we are saying goodbye to each other. I don't just come out mid conversation and say, "I love you". I think as we get older we tend to get so caught up with our lives and we forget to say it even though we do mean it. Sometimes those 3 little words are the hardest to say. But I think actions speak louder than words.

It feels so good, when you can hear it from your kids. The best is when they want to cuddle with you and hug you and say it. I try to tell my mom as much as possible. And even if or kids don't say it we know they do. Sometimes actions speak louder then words.

ABSOLUTELY! My son and I are very close and he is now 17 and he will even tell me he loves me in front of his friends! I tell him atleast 3 times a day I love u. It makes a moms day to hear it. its a pure and unselfish love that a mother has for her child and it warms the heart to know u r loved in return. She may KNOW u love her but we still need to hear it

I'm sure moms like to hear that we love them...I love to just hug her out of the blue and tell her how much I love her. If you are not used to saying how much you love her you can pratice telling her how important she is to you and how thankful you are of having such a wonderful person as a mother, I'm sure she'll appreciate that.

Awww..I love hearing my kids say I love you and I hope they say it even when they are adults. Just tell your mom. You should always say I love you whenever you can because life is short and you don't want someone to pass without them knowing how you feel.

I love to hear my 9 yr old son say he loves me. It is a race between us at bedtime to see who says, "I love you more and thats final".
