I had all four of mine taken out last year when I was a Senior in high school. Mine were cut out, but It was not that bad, they put me under so I don't remember a thing.

I had all 4 of mine cut out when I was 20. They were growing in sideways - into my other teeth. I remember looking up during the procedure and seeing the dentist over me, digging the top ones out, with this look like he was having to really pull hard. I couldn't feel anything because I was numb and breathing nitrous oxide, but could remember thinking.... this is really going to hurt later. It did! I was in so much pain when the novocain wore off. I had sent my sister to get my pain medicine that the dentist gave me, but she decided to go shopping ...... I got her back years later when she had gal bladder surgery. LOL I had them done on a weekend and had to be back at college on Monday. I looked like a chipmunk.

Right before I turned 16 I had all 4 pulled out before they grew in any more because they were coming in at a very bad angle and were causing me some bad headaches for a long time before they would even consider pulling them out since they weren't formed enough to take out easily.

Nope. When I was 16 i had them removed. They were impacted and causing soooo much pain. They knocked me out and I had like 2 stitches in each place where they had to dig out the wisdom teeth! My face was swollen for a week and looked like I had two black eyes! Very painful! Glad thats over with

I'm 25 and my wisdom teeth are still growing. I need to have them pulled because I do not have enough room in my mouth. They hurt like hell this morning.

I'm 28 and still have all 4 of mine. I'll eventually get them removed since 2 of them are broken though.

I had my wisdom teeth chiseled out of my jaw when I was 25. It was pain to the extreme when the anaesthetic wore off! It killed for 2 weeks after and my face was the size of Texas X(

I've had all 4 removed, 4 different times! They were pulled. I was in my mid-20s.

I'm 22, all four of them are still working their way out. My dentist said I should get them removed, because it's causing my other teeth to shift forward. Yikes!

unfortunately i've still got mine. all 4 grew in about 6 years ago, and my mouth is rather small, so the lack of room for them has caused them to start breaking off in pieces, basically making my life a living hell. i need dental insurance desperately!
