Add to this, Illegal working numbers, missing passports (about 50,000), illegal workers working in security, bailing out Northern Rock, health care, closure of hospitals, lack of police, PSCO's with no powers, gun crime in London. The list could go on. Get out whilst you can

As you ask. No, I don't trust them.

It's not so much that I think the Inland Revenue are dishonest. The huge majority of their staff undoubtedly do their best under difficult cost-cutting conditions and working under political interference.

It's just that any large organisation has it's share of idiots. This can't be avoided unfortunately..Mind you, I don't trust anybody with my personal details but what choice do we have?
Until there is completely secure personal identification (e.g. a "bar code" chip implanted at birth) we have to rely on databases and the risks that they have.

Politicians are untrustworthy by definition.
Be aware though, that if you feel strongly enough to emigrate, that there's only New Zealand and Canada left in the civilised world that seem to have a higher standard of living AND more freedom AND a happier (overall) population than the UK. Most countries would never allow you to criticise the establishment in the way you just have.

Vote them out! There are alternative parties, give them a try. The solution's in our hands as voters. As long as most stay at home then nothing will change.

No, but let us try to examine what we have been told the loss of an amount of private and confidential information mainly from child benefit,a loss of incredible size.but none of us in the UK can be under the impression that the government does not have back up copies. If they haven't? then that is unforgivable, and heads must roll whoever head that be.but the government are or should be responsible for any loss made by the public and restitution should be made in full not a percentage as recently seen, I would take odds that Alistair Darling will not, lose either this months salary slip, or what he should lose. His Job.

No. Governments, in particular this Labour Government have over the years developed a reputation for being inefficient, unreliable, incompetent and in some instances utterly corrupt. There is absolutely no way I would trust this government....ever! You are not alone in considering emigrating,I am also preparing to depart...

If Darling has only been Chancellor for a short time, should we not be looking for the resignation, of the person who has been Chancellor, for the last 10 years and is completely responsible, for the way the systems are set up, namely,
Self-Elected Brown.

Your 2 questions are actually not probably correct. I for one do no longer have faith the government with my own information simply by fact they are too lapse approximately confidentiality. whilst they saved concepts on PAPER, the records had to be saved shelter, if purely simply by fact the dep. that recorded the concepts, necessary it to accomplish their artwork. This inevitably implied a point of protection, albeit borne out of a want by making use of the correct branch to be waiting to locate and get right of entry to the records. simply by fact the shape of Databases, the entire factor approximately moving concepts around, and gaining access to it from transportable or fairly compact kinds of storage faraway from shelter premises has made own records much less shelter, and has permitted far greater concepts to be saved than grew to become into earlier required; lots of it, positively, simply by requirement to potential attempt some allowances. even with those lamentable lapses of protection and the cavalier suggestions-set the government has to private and exclusive concepts, whilst the administration is in a position to exert adequate persuasion on the government, the identity Card law would be enacted, even with despite if or no longer we have faith the government.

Yup. you can trust them absolutely. They will take your details, muddle them up with all the other details they have on other people , then all the details and data will be completely useless and valueless to everyone. Oooooh, do you think they are monitoring us now ?
