like Doctor, police, fireman, charity volunteerer, etc.

No hero is more 'heroic' than others. They are all heroes and they save the world. Mum & dad are heroes, they give us shelter and love. Teachers are heroes, they educate and raise our wisdom to be useful people. Etc. There are more that i'm not gonna include (cuz it will go on forever).

Apart from being parents or friends or brothers & sisters, etc What kind of hero do u want to become, and why (do u prefer this kind)?

I'd want to be a doctor, because I don't want to run after criminals and physically arrest them. I'm also too soft to do this kind of work.

What about u?

hmmm..

I never really considered myself a hero. I never wanted to be called that, and I get a little offended my people who idolize those that have choose a life of public service.

Everyone does their part to make this a better world, just because I work on an ambulance it doesn't make me any more of a hero than the nice lady who takes the time to cut my hair. We both serve, we both should be respected.

Emergency service workers are just ordinary people that are thrust into extraordinary situations. We choose a life of helping others for one reason or the other, but it doesn't make us to superior to anyone. I think teachers deserve more of a hero status than any emergency responder.

If you want to see a hero look no further than in the eyes of your children. See what they see, and be that hero, no matter what you have choosen as your profession.

The kind of hero that I AM is one that brings happiness to those that feel sorrow. I am a very positive, happy person and my happiness spreads to others when I am around. I have found that when someone is upset, they can vent or cry on my shoulder and they will feel better. I am a friend in every caring, thoughtful way a friend should be. I have an infectious laugh and a smile that will cure what ails you!

Peace ♥ Happiness

:-) Happy Holidays!

I would like to contribute to society in a way that allows our world as we know it today to make it through to another century. If I can do something, anything, that helps to see this world of ours through to the next century or millenium or era of humanity, then I could begin to feel that my life was important, was worth something, and that I was a hero.

I think it's important to go beyond the issue of time - what I want to do in the future, what I've accomplished in the past. It is important to think about now - what do I do today that makes me feel like a hero today? If I spend too much time on what I want to do - I always have a mind set of wanting to accomplish something, but never really accomplishing it. Or, likewise, by fawning over some goal reached in the past, I miss being in the moment today. So, instead, I focus on what I can do today.

I've always admired people that have a great range of creativity, and apply their talents to creating anything from works of art and literature and anything that impresses and inspires others to do something creative with their lives. So that's what I'll probably be doing - writing, learning new skills and applying them to create something spectacular, and interacting with others and inspiring others along the way.
