Of course the first reaction to this question is going to be yes but being put in that situation would be a totally different thing. Everyone will say yes if they love thier spouse but being in that situation the person might have second thoughts. I do believe a Mothers love is different I think a Mother would put her childs life ahead of hers.

What is a spouce?

I have heard of a spouse though.

What is a sacrafice?

I have heard of a sacrifice.

"and would died of natural causes?"

I don't understand your question.

Spell check and a trip through elementary school are in order.

I was going to say no because he would want me to live for our kids, but if I knew he would be there for our kids until he was 85 then I would die early just so they would have a parent for that long.

I will try every single thing that I can to find away to keep her alive not just by sacrificing myself because I know that she needs me like I need her
I could not live without her so does she

but if it is until the state where I had to. i would
i would even sell my kidney to keep her alive, medicated and happy
and it's all for my little princess also, because I know she needs the mommy more than a daddy

complicated question with lots of variable. it's sure easy to type YES YES YES I'm married with 4 kids and i know my husband would die trying to save my life (but he's a fire fighter and i know he'd die trying to save anyone's life). On sudden impulse type deal.. like an immediate reaction that you have to save someone without time to consider consequences to yourself? yes I would jump right in to save him. If i had time to weigh the consequences and think about it all, then I can't answer that question. You kind of imply like if they needed a surgery and you had a match but it would kill you to keep them alive... I think I would, but I don't really think anyone can honestly answer unless they been there/did that lol esp the ones of us with children.. We'd all lay down our lives for our children. So how is that for hedging

Happy Thanksgiving all.. Amen, let's eat

Bad question. The real question is would you live for your spouse. If they had an accident and were comatose or otherwise impaired would you still devote the rest of your life to seeing to their well being. Any idiot can die for someone, it takes strength to live.

Most certainly. My life has been full to date and as such I would be more than happy to give the ultimate sacrifice for her. But I am also more then certain that she would do the same for me in return.

Of course I would. and my husband would do the same for me. I know it.
That level of trust is what makes us so perfect for each other (although of course we fight like every other couple.)

The question is, would either of us want to live without our partner?
