I have a 2006 Mazda6 V6 3.0L but I'm not sure if it's the S or the I model?

How can I tell? I want to put on some new aftermarket foglights but some say they won't fit the S model while others say they don't fit the I. Help!!!

You have the S model

The S model comes with a 3.0L DOHC 24-valve V6 engine
The I-model comes with a 2.3L DOHC 16-valve I4 engine

If you're sure you have a V6 then you have the S model.
