Wouldn't be easier for women to know what not to wear if the fashion industry used average to petite height models to present their clothing lines instead of tall skinny models?

I completely agree. The fashion industry does not reflect what most of the people buying the products look like. I read somewhere once that only 6% of the population looks like runway models! What about the other 94%? They buy just as much (If not more) clothing!!

I totally agree!! I'm 5'3" and I've always thought it was bull that all the models have to be 6 foot whatever, not many girls are that tall anyways!!!

I agree, it's all an illusion. Just like on a TV commercial you see this delicious sandwich piled high with fixins, and when you buy it, it looks a hot mess. They just want to sell you their product, they don't think practically
