What cultures were slaves?

besides the africans. I know the jews were, and the spartans had slaves, but i forget what they were called, so any culture that was enslaves would be very helpful, thanks!!!

At one point or another most countries were either slaves or slave holding.

The slavery of the south and the West Indies are the most recent. This was the enslavement of African prisoners of war.
However, the English enslaved the Jews under Bloody Mary. The Irish and the Scots were practically enslaved by the laws and the high taxes. The Romans would make slaves out of any enemy that survived the battle. The same for the Greeks and the Turks and the African Tribes.

The Spartan slaves were the Helots. Slavery has existed all over the world in nearly every culture. In the beginnings of the United States those who were indentured servants could be considered slaves.
