Polls are statistics. Statistics can be manipulated to say exactly what each party wants them to say. All they have to do is chose their population correctly and word the questions to elicit the desired response. I am neither republican or democrat and I don't put too much faith in polls in any case.

Side bar: I am with you aml, who cares what a poll says. I care about reality.

I just read a recent poll stating that the Republicans don't have a snowball's chance in Hell of winning the White House next election. Would I like to believe it? YES!!
Do I believe it?? NO!!
It's just a poll - a survey easily manipulated by the way the question is asked or answered. Polls are great for pollsters. Anyone who puts too much faith in their results is probably only a dreamer hoping to find the answer (s)he wants to hear. -RKO- 11/20/07

Where is this poll? I haven't read it. Nor have I heard of it.

All I know is that government in whatever form in the United States has been rendered irrelevant-millionaires regardless of their political affiliation are not the folks who need to represent us.

Republicans and Democrats hope we keep focusing on who is evil and who isn't so we won't pay attention to what a horrible job is being done with our country.

Chickens coming home to roost? Nah-we're all just cattle to them anyway-your question proves my point.

Who cares? A recent poll said 75% of Americans like their PB&J jelly side up. It doesn't really mean anything. Only the election results will tell.
