You COULD, but I don't think it's fair to her. As some others have said, you really should wait until she's old enough to make the decision for herself.
Sometimes I think it's funny, in a sad sort of way, how some parents will do things like pierce a child's ears before they're old enough to even realize what's happening. Then, those same parents will tell their children that they can't pierce this or tattoo that when the child gets older. Not that I agree with young children doing those things, I just think that parents should consider those possibilities when doing something like piercing the ears of an infant.
My ears were pierced when I was two months old. In truth, I probably would have gotten them pierced myself had the decision been mine, but it just irks me a bit that it wasn't my decision. Not to mention, that my ear holes are slightly uneven now and I think it's because they were made at such a young age and my ears hadn't had time to develop.
Basically, I think that altering, in any way, a person who lacks the ability to make those kinds of decisions for themself is a big no-no. Ask yourself this: Would you pierce the ears of someone in a coma? I think I know the answer.
I hope I don't sound like I'm attacking you. That's not my intention.

my parents did my ears when i was two months old. i think it is better to do it when the baby is really young because they dont even feel the pain most of the time. i saw a baby get her ears pierced and she cried for one ear and the mother stuck a bottle in her mouth and she didnt even notice the second ear being pierced.
If I have a little girl, Im going to have her ears pierced at one month if i can but only if she has had her shots. I think the reason they ask you to wait until two months is because the babies have had their shots by then to ward off infection.

I did my little girls ears at 6 weeks old and when I took her to her Dr. a week later she fused me because she hadn't had her shots yet. It is better to wait until she has had her shots but you are the mom and if they will pierce them for you go ahead and do it at six weeks. Some people will not do them until they are a certain age but a year ago I had my little girls done at six weeks old and she never cried.

first of all, pierced ears are very hard to take care of in a baby. second of all, getting them done at about 13 is a great bribery trick for good behavior or something. and can you honestly put your innocent little baby through something so painful? she's going to be pulling her ears when she's tired perhaps and she could hurt herself instead. is it really worth it for something so small that she really doesn't need but you want?

once you get your ears pierced, it kinda stings then burns. i wouldnt say it hurts regardless of the indisputable fact that. claires or piercing pagoda are the two sturdy and their workers are oftentimes very helpful. i might do it. in step with risk a piercing will make you sense extra shelter mutually with your ears even regardless of the indisputable fact that im particular they're completely fantastic. and through how, you may carry maximum drinks on your suitcase basically dont carry it on.

I don't recommend it at all until a child is 5.
Earrings can be pulled loose and swallowed...causing a choking hazard. Not to mention all the risk of infection. It's really not a wise decision.

You can have your babies ears pierced anytime you like, I've known people who have had their daughters ears pierced the day after they left the hospital. It might be better to wait, but there are no set rules on the subject.

Why would you want to do that. She does not need her ears pierced it is so not right. Wait until she is at least in high school, although most schools have a ban on earrings.
