I was wondering rather if there's a site that I am (willingly, i was not implying i'd like this free or illegally) able to download that specific song. I am a student and its for a comparison of the same piece played by two different performers.
As I am a student I'm a little tight for cash so I'd much rather download just the song rather than the album. Place's like Amazon.com allow it but its an American site and my card doesn't work with this.

Any ideas?

So, you want someone to illegally send you a pirate file of Lang Lang? If you don't have iTunes, you can download it (you obviously have internet access!).

Please don't help perpetuate the 'free download', 'free music' mentality which is killing music. You presumably think Lang Lang is a great pianist. You're right - he is. You wouldn't walk up to him in the street and rob him, would you? Stealing his music and his artistry is just the same, although you probably feel better about it because you don't have direct contact with him and it's something you 'need'.

BUY IT!!

Yes...please do listen to Malcolm and get Ciccolini's instead. (Unless you are under some requirement to listen to Lang Lang for school or something??) Lang Lang is technically proficient but he lacks maturity and understanding of many pieces of music. His Hungarian Rhapsody (listen on YouTube) is just a dreadful mess (even technically). He is basically a product and is used by some classical management firm somewhere to make a lot of money because the general masses like "gimicky" classical music. I am sorry if you truly love Lang Lang and hearing this is like a knife in the heart...I do not mean to offend...I just hope you realize he is BY FAR not one of the better pianists in existence. Here are a few newer pianists that exceed his level by miles and miles (I posted this recently in another thread):

EDIT: Sorry...I don't know any that accept foreign cards...I would suggest either sukcing it up and buying it (or maybe sharing the cost with other students in your class?) you can also try you school library...do they have a music listening room? Or what about the main public library...you can check if they have a music media section where you can listen to music. If that doesn't work....try seeing if there is a music conservatory/music school through a college in your area...they should have a music library/media area. Try and see if you can go there even though you aren't a student...sorry I can't be of more help!

EDIT: Sorry...i don't know why the links aren't working!

Get a copy at your local CD outlet. If you want the best version - get Aldo Ciccolini's - not Lang Lang's. Its available on the complete Satie piano music album.
