Why does my belief or non-belief in aliens matter? Do you think anyone who answers this question on almost a daily basis has any real idea?

There are two possibilities, each with subclassifications:
1. They exist
a. They are all too primitive to have interstellar travel
b. Interstellar travel is inherently impossible for even the
most advanced
c. Advanced societies aren't really interested in interstellar
travel
d. Advanced societies travel lightyears to make crop
circles, mutilate cows, give anal-probes, and fly
about in random patterns for no discernable reason.
e. They existed, developed nuclear weapons, and died.

2. They don't exist.

The drake equation, plugged in with even presumably pessimistic numbers, predicts large numbers of civilizations in the galaxy.

The problem with the Drake Equation is the Fermi Paradox: If they exist, where are they ? An advanced civilization using self replicating space probes should be able to explore and colonize the galaxy in a period from 5 to 15 million years. There is absolutely no evidence of any alien artifact on earth.

The alternative to the Drake Equation is the Rare Earth Hypothesis which assumes that the steps necessary for intelligent life to evolve are so improbable, that we are probably the only intelligent race currently existing. SETI hasn't found any sign of interstellar communications.

What's the truth. Its very likey we will never know.

I DO believe in aliens, I Do, I Do, I Do!

at least statistically. Somewhere in the universe on the trillions of planets circling trillions of stars for billions of years, there is probably intelligent life. Whether any of them have bothered to come to earth, I doubt, but if a billion years ago, or even a million years ago, they were where we are now, there could be a thousand invisible aliens looking over my shoulder right now as I write, and they............

i believe that they are possible but with all the evidence and sightings can be real or a hoax. i believe in ghosts however as my sister encountered paranormal experience with the ghost of a bridal girl gliding out of my room to the bathroom, my sister is not the type who kids arounds like that and it was daytime so there was less likely for her vision to be flawed. i've encountered an aroma out of nowhere that didnt came from me because at that time i didnt took shower for days

Yes! But I don't believe that they landed here on earth. But there must be any sort of living thing in this huge universe.

Quite definitely! Comparing the size of the universe and the chance of life developing, it is unquestionable that somewhere out there life has formed.

I don't know one way or the other because we've never seen any but I think you would have to be pretty naive to think that in this entire universe that we are the only intelligent life forms out there.

SOME COUNTRY HAS A RESULT, AND SINCE THEY COULD IDENTIFY SUCH ALIENS.
YOU MUST HAVE SEEN SOME MOVIES TOO SHOWING ALIENS,
SO LONG ONE DOES NOT SEE NONE WILL BELIEVE.
SUCH PROOFS ARE CONVEYED TO THE WORLD OVER.BUT WE ALL NOT HAVING SEEN, WILL NEVER BELIEVE.
