Im sooooo with u on this one! If it is between 2 adults and consentual- why should we keep waisting our tax dollars just for a special branch of the police to handle the prostitution! Its crazy! They could be going after killers and child molesters instead of 2 adults having sex! Then it would be alot less dangerous for them too. It could be more controlled and they wouldnt need pimps that beat them to a pulp either!

As long as we are talking both parties being consenting adults, if it were up to me, yes, prostitution would be legal.
Not because I have, or ever would, participate, but because as long as there are people, there will be prostitution. Always has been; always will be.
But, I believe, if legalized it would cut out a lot of the "black-market" side of the industry. There wouldn't be a need for most of the bottom-sucking pimps.
Oh, there would still be the perverted-side offenders, but the majority of the crimes associated with prostitution would be eliminated if the law were changed to reflect legalization of prostitution between two parties that are both consenting and both of legal age.
