ok, I'll be completely honest here, although I never want anyone to know that I do it. I do cry- and those stupid hallmark commercials around the holidays even make me want to cry. what a big baby huh?

Yeah, once I caught myself welling-up near the end of "She's Having a Baby" as a bachelor, which made me also laugh at myself (!!) watching it, alone on TV -- and incidentally, the scene of Kevin Bacon realizing his wife's life is in the balance giving birth, while the Kate Bush song ("Woman's Work") is perfectly used in the scene... is now, SO antiquated, and dates that movie so much... because husbands/men ARE IN THE ROOM now, not sitting outside. Even for an operation. That was soooo pre-80's of that 1980's movie (1984? 83-ish?). Great tear-jerker scene tough, especially if you happen to CARE for that actress, McGovern... who I absolutely did and do... (hey, you're asking a Man for his true feelings right?)

Mostly now, I start to weep BEFORE the movies, when I'm online and realize what it's going to cost me to get my daughter and 4 of her friends in (and supply the popcorn & Raisinets, mixed in bag by the way, and parking...because I live in NYC, and we pay for everything...) etc.

yes, especially since my wife's death.
it doesn't, even have to be a sad movie, it just has to remind me of her in some way; something we shared a laugh too, or a cry, & Kelly Preston movies, she looked just like her.

Yeah, but I try to hide it. Anyone who can watch Brian's Song and not cry is not human.
