I live in a dorm complex where I have my own room but I have to share a bathroom with 1 other person. For the first time in my life, I contracted athlete's foot and then a month later a strange rash on the sole of my right foot ever since using this tub.

I don't have the option of moving out and I'm seriously considering bombing my bathtub with bleach every other day to get rid of whatever nasty germs and diseases my roommate is spreading around the tub.

Bleach at least once a week... plus for extra protection they sell sprays for athletes foot at walmart the cheapest brand works really well! My husbands feet started showing clear up within 2 days and it's completely gone now! Also make sure you keep your feet dry, like dry really well when you get out of the shower and if your socks are prone to get wet from sweat you should have extra pairs on you! Another thing that could help is wear flip flops in the shower!

it is somewhat elementary and that i visit tell you the thank you to apply and what's the suitable disinfectant, use White Vinegar, use as much as you want you may the two pour on a sponge and wipe down the bathtub, or basically pour some on the backside of the bathtub and wipe it everywhere in the two way it does no longer make any distinction as lengthy as you employ Vinegar, Vinegar has been touted as being the suitable disinfectant interior the international, it beats out Bleach. that's going to additionally get rid of difficult water spots, lime and make your bathing room scent sparkling, it eliminates stains besides, you may depart the Vinegar on for approximately an hour in case you're nevertheless doubtful as to if the germs are lengthy gone, yet my suggestion to you is all you may desire to depart it on for is basically thirty to fourty minutes the 1st time, then you definately can sparkling and disinfect different cases with it once you want for a minute or 2 through leaving it on earlier rinsing, remember once you do the disinfecting for one hour or much less you may desire to rinse it with warm water or the hotest your hands can stand. sturdy success !

scrub very well with ajax or comet to get all the scum and germs, then rinse. Then mix bleach with water (read directions on bleach, depending on how much you want to use) and spray thoroughly over entire bathtub including faucets, drain, etc. Let sit for a few minutes then rinse thoroughly. I would also keep a bottle of Lysol spray and wipes near the bathtub and tell your roomates to use it after they shower or bathe so the tub can get disenfected continuosly.

Bleach is good, Hot water and a little bleach should help. But personally I wouldn't want my skin to touch the tub so you could buy a rubber bath mat, put it in the tub before you shower and keep it in your room between showers. You could also wear water shoes and wash your feet after you leave the tub.

Just keep a spray bottle filled with 80% water and a few tablespoons of Clorax bleach.. You don't need much to kill germs, bacteria.. Also, make sure your towel(s) fully dry and that your wash cloth stays yours and yours alone... It also wouldn't hurt to have a pair of shower shoes....Good luck

Bleach is good, so is Lysol. You can also invest in some plastic flip-flops, slides, shower shoes, etc. Keep your feet off of the bare floor.
